...without visiting or updating my blog. I guess I have been too busy...or had nothing to say....I'm going with the former as I never seem to be at a loss for words...lol.
So much has happened in the last year. Courtney moved back to BC in the spring. She wasn't happy about it at first (I didn't really give her a choice in the matter). She lived with us for a few months which was nice but way too crowded. In January she moved in with a couple of girlfriends which gives her more independence and still keeps her close to home. She has a boyfriend (seems like a really nice guy...quiet though...lol) so I am sure that he is the only thing that has kept her in Kelowna for this long. The boys are happy to have her home, too, and they enjoy having sleepovers at her house (I secretly enjoy these too b/c it means quiet-time around here...lol). She is working full-time as a Merchandiser/cashier at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Bernard (my old store...details to follow).
Kip and the boys had a good year of football. No championships for Spring Flag or Fall Tackle but it was close! Kip and Eric are moving up a division so it will be interesting for both of them. Hopefully Kip will be able to retain some of his former players by coaching a team across town (they don't have a coach and our area does). A few teams are trying to get him on board with them (he is really having an ego trip about this) as the kids really like him and he likes them as well. We will have to see how it goes. Patrick is still on the fence about whether he is playing this year or not....same as last year and I am guessing he will play again. If he decides not to play then he will help Kip coach his team.
